Mr. Godwin Emifele on Wednesday made his first appearance before President Goodluck Jonathan at the presidential villa, Abuj after taking over as the new sustantial governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN.
As soon as he arrived the villa, the new CBN governor entered into the President’s office where they held a closed-door meeting for about one hour.
After the meeting, Emefiele came out, but when confronted by State House correspondents, he refused to speak.
But Newsmen learnt that issues of the economy and the banking sector which he is expected to unveil on Thursday topped the agenda of his meeting with the president.
