The people of Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State have been urged to as a matter of urgency disown their son, Prince Eze Madumere, the deputy governor of the state for failing to utilize his position in attracting any project to the area.
The state secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Sir George Egu, made the statement weekend at the commencement of the party’s state unity rally in Nworieubi headquarters of Mbaitoli council area.
According to the PDP scribe, the people of the area must publicly disown Madumere as a sign of full repentance for giving Imo people a team that lacked vision.
He told the people of the area to stop lamenting about no visible projects in the area by the Rescue Mission government, which one of their sons is deputy governor, saying the only way to show their anger against such non-performing government official was to disown him as that would make future leaders from the area to sit up.
Egu said there was no sign showing they have deputy governor in the state and urged them to ensure the PDP takes over the state in 2015 to redeem all the mistakes that had been made in the past.
The state chairman of the PDP, Sir Nnamdi Ayaehie told the people of the area that the party was now well positioned to bring back good governance in the state.
He assured them that the Udenwa time must return in Imo return in 2015 and urged them to support the party to give them jobs and work for them.
