The administration of the Executive Chairman of Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra state, Hon. Uchenna Charles Okafor has been described as an administration anchored in God, considering the way the council boss is fast touching the lives of the people in the council.
Senior Special Adviser to the chairman on Religious Matters Rev. Chinedu John Ikpeamorom while exchanging views with journalists in the council yesterday said the giant stride of the council boss to transform the area is worth celebrating, noting that Hon. Okafor’s style of leadership and cordial relationship with the staff of the council remains second to non in Anambra state local government system.
Lauding Hon. Uchenna Charles Okafor of sustaining Monday morning prayers in the council as away of bringing God first in his administration of the Council, Rev. Chinedu Ikpeamraom said the sky is the limit of the council boss even as he prayed God to replenish the Chairman with more wisdom.
0n the activities of the Chairman, the cleric- journalist cum politician said that the simplicity and the open door policy of the chairman, adding to transparency and his dedication to duty needs emulating even as the SSA on Religious Matters urged all other council chairmen in the state to emulate his boss.
Rating Oyi local government Area’s first citizen as the best performing chairman in Anambra State, Rev. Ikpeamorom who has in the past contested for House of Assembly election in Constituency 11, Ajeromi Ifelodun local government area of Lagos State under the platform of defunct Congress for National Consensuses, CNC said the past records of Hon. Okafor earned him the Chairman of Chairmen in the state.
The clergy also calls on the people of the council to pray without season for fast development of the council, urging his boss not to relent in his stride to make the council a pride of the state.
