Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa state has contended that the bombing syndicates and gunmen were from no where than assigned from Abuja to destroy northern part of the country under various names.
Nyako, chose insecurity challenges that bedevilled the country as topic to address the APC gathering in Gusau, Zamfara state capital during reception ceremony of over 25,000 PDP members into the party.
He further challenged that, Fulani people or Tiv and any other respected tribe across the country can not kill simply because of minor dispute on cattle rearing and farming as they do respect their leaders and constitution that governed the country.
Also speaking, Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar and his Sokoto state counterpart, Aliyu Magatarda Wamako respectively said the defection of the former minister of information and communication, Aliyu Ikra Bilbis and state Coordinator to Jonathan’s campaign 2011, Lawali Zurmi Amaka and their teeming followers was a clear sign of PDP’s down fall in the state.
Yari said it is time for him to realize how prudently his administration had managed the little resources of the state in driving infrastructural developments of the state to the greater height.
He called on people across the country to avoid re-electing the party that records nothing but killings and corruption as its major achievements.
He alleged that the PDP government had washed down the good name of Nigeria in the eyes of the world by becoming giant in terms of corruption.
Speaking on behalf of other decampees, former Minster of Information and Communications said, “After intensive contact with my people across the state, we decided to decamp to APC wholeheartedly to contribute our quarter towards the development of our state as already embarked upon by Governor Abdulaziz Yari”.
“We are about 25,000 of us unanimously agreed to drop PDP for APC, so that history would delete our names from the ruling party that woefully derailed this country off progress”, Bilbis stressed.
