Breaking: Bomb Scare At Niger Secretariat

There was pandemonium at the Niger State secretariat, Minna, following the discovery  of an object suspected to be Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

 

 

 

247ureports.com gathered that workers started fleeing for safety when a bottle containing some unidentified substances was discovered by a group of people.

 

 

 

The state police command dispatched a team of its anti-bomb squad to the secretariat following receipt of a distress call from some senior civil servants.

 

 

An Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mr. Emmanuel Olokor led the anti-bomb squad to the scene, but it was later discovered that the object was not a bomb.

Olokor emptied the content of the bottle before members of the public and urged them to go about their lawful businesses.
