A member of the board of Trustees of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka in Onitsha, Anambra State said that APGA and the entire Igbo nation would vote for President Goodluck Jonathan come 2015 Presidential election.

Fielding questions from newsmen, Chief Ezeonwuka who is the Igbo Spiritual leader posited that after Jonathan an Igboman would succeed him.

His words, “we will support Jonathan and after him an Igboman will take over”.

According to him, “there will be a negotiation with President Jonathan. We must support him to enable him support us after him, there is no vacancy at Aso Rock for now”.

He said that Jonathan has been able to perform more than any other president both military and civilian pointing out that he should be allowed to complete the next tenure to enable him complete projects he has embarked upon.

On terrorism he said, “all we need is for the security agencies to wake up. We have gone digital, no more analogue in fighting crimes”.

“Security gadgets should be put in place, one surveillance satellite is enough to know where they operate from. Technology has made it easy to detect crimes, so the issue is to learn how to operate it. Detective cameras should be put in place”.

On the recently concluded gubernatorial election in Anambra State he said that defeated gubernatorial candidates at the tribunal were there to tell those they borrowed money from that they were making efforts to show the money borrowed was being used in meaningful project and not a waste.

He reminded them that only one person would win in an election adding that Willie Obiano has won and should be allowed to develop the state.

He described the defeated gubernatorial candidates at the tribunal as sycophants and urged them to withdraw their cases and wait for the next election.

He however urged Governor Obiano to continue from where former Governor Peter Obi stopped adding that if he fails to perform he would be held responsible.

According to him, “I expect him to continue with the unity in APGA just like Governor Fashola of Lagos and his predecessor, Asuwaji Tinubu are jointly working to move Yoruba land forward”.
