South-East Nominates Ike Nwachuku To Lead Confab Delegation

Former Minister for External Affairs, Senator Ike Nwachukwu has been appointed to lead the south east delegates to the proposed national conference.

 

Nwachukwu is to be deputized for by charismatic catholic priest, monsignor Prof. Obiora Ike.

 

Also former Nigeria’s Ambassador to United States of America, Dr. George Obiozor is to manage the secretariat of Ndigbo to be established in Abuja for the purposes of the conference.

 

Chairman of the South east Governors forum and Governor of Abia state, Chief Theodore Orij made the disclosures yesterday shortly after the governors of the zone met with delegates of the zone to the conference.

The Governors advised the delegates of the zone to corporate with other Nigeria delegates to the conference and among themselves as well.

 

The Governors urged the south east delegates to protect the interest of their zone while taking the unity and prosperity of Nigeria as core priority.

 

Governor Orji also announced different state leaders to the conference to include Dr. Sam Egwu for Ebonyi, senator Ken Nnamani for Enugu, Ike Nwachukwu for Abia and Dr. Ezekiel Izuogu for Imo state, respectively.
