The State government of Jigawa State under the administration of Governor Sule Lamido has exhibited its inability to properly addressed the problem of rural education – after nearly 8 years in office. According to available records, the State of Jigawa ‘spent’ over N3.865billion on rural education.

To be fair to the Governor, Lamido administration has achieved a lot on infrastructural development, transparency and has transformed the state to a modern city. We need only to advise him to do more in addressing this important public sector, Education.
