The remains of late Anastasia Chekwube Mbaka allegedly gang-raped to death by coffin makers at Minji Village Obosi in Idemili North Council Area of Anambra State in November last year will be laid to rest tomorrow in her father’s compound, Ezzagu in Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
In a press release from the office of media executive of Women & Family Affairs Committee, World Igbo Congress, USA in Nigeria, Nze Nweke Nweke, said the burial was fixed following the approval from the state police command. Nweke made it known that an autopsy has been conducted through the sponsorship of his Non-Governmental Organization, NGO.
Stating that the act of the people alleged to be involved has not done well to the image of the country, Nweke noted that the act of the Devil’s incarnate will ever remain ever green in the hearts of every good thinking Nigerian. He went further to urge the law enforcement agencies in the state to work assiduously in bringing the culprits to book.
