The Police Command in Anambra on Friday said that it would mount special parade as part of events marking the handover of government in the state March 17.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Emeka Chukwuemeka, told Newsmen in Onitsha that the special parade would add colour to the occasion.

“The parade will also showcase the gallantry and readiness of officers and men of the command to respond to any crime or emergency-related situation in the state,’’ Chukwuemeka said.

He also said that the command had made adequate security arrangement to forestall any security challenge during the occasion.
