Despite what Republicans have been pushing, President Obama is starting to get back into the good graces of the American people.
Following the disastrous roll-out for the Affordable Care Act, President Obama’s job approval dropped to levels that no politician wants to see. Though Republicans and conservative voters across the country have touted this “stat,” a new poll shows a change in direction.
According to the newest Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll, a right-leaning poll, President Obama’s job approval is now at 51 percent, with his disapproval standing at 47 percent. While only 25 percent “strongly approve” of the president’s performance, the number is a big jump as the health care has smoothed out ans the unemployment number has dropped to a 5 year low.
With the 2014 mid term elections less than a year away, President Obama and Democrats can only hope that his number climbs as they attempt to hold on to the Senate and gain seats in the House of Representatives.
