Thousand of Eleme youths in Eleme Local government area, Rivers state embarked on a peaceful protest to disassociate themselves from the recently protest of some youths who were protesting against the alleged shooting of Senator Magnus Abe.
Speaking with newsmen in Port Harcourt, the youths president Prince Gokpa Goosi said the youths who protested last week against the alleged shooting of Senator Abe were hired youths and tugs who were bought to carried out such protest in Eleme.
While apologizing to residents of the area, he condemned the+ attitude of the senator for alleging that his was shot by the police.
Prince Goosi said the East West road that was blocked were also carried out by hired youths, saying that senator Abe action would not instigate the youths to embarked on any protest, advising the senator to respect the law.
