Information reaching 247ureports.com indicates that the Commissioner for Urban, Hon. Tammy Danagogo was recently sacked for his refusal to defect with the governor of the Rivers state, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi to All Progressive Congress, APC.
According to available information, the commissioner’s sack letter was said to have been drafted immediately he openly declared his membership of the People Democratic Party [PDP]. He made the declaration in his home town of Akuku-Toru local government area.
The commissioner had visited his home town to meet with his supporters – while visiting his supporters, he made it known to his hometown supporters that he still remain a member of the People Democratic Party.
Reacting to his sack, the commissioner said he had already resigned before the Rivers state government declared his position vacant.
But the state government also through it secretary, Mr. George Feyi claimed that the commissioner was sacked and that he did not resigned by his sacked.
