A self-acclaimed pastor, Obinna Ezirim, has been docked at the Magistrate Court in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State for allegedly stealing a one month-old baby, Prince Goodluck Chinedozie Asoronye.
Pastor Ezirim, a native of Ihodimeze in Ikeduru LGA of the state was said to have stolen the one month-old baby boy at gun point from his mother and grand mother around 11pm at Okwosu, Amauzari community in Isiala Mbano LGA.
Pastor Ezirim was brought to the court, but, the case was adjourned till January 24, 2014 for further hearing by the magistrate.
Speaking with journalists, the father of the little baby boy, Uchenna Asoronye, said the baby was recovered from the pastor through the efforts of the vigilance youths in Okwosu village, who accosted him and recovered the baby.
Efforts made to speak with Pastor Ezirim’s lawyer, could not yield any fruits as he left court without notice.
