Jigawa Police Nabbed Robbers, N2million Cash, Master Keys

The jigawa state police command have arrested salisu Abdullahi of
Tudun Nufawa kaduna state and Mustapha Abubakar of jemeta of Adamawa
state who specializes in using master keys to commit crime, the
suspected robbers were arrested in Dutse metropolis after they had
used master keys to open the booth of a car belong to one Musa shehu
attached to new world micro finance bank of Birnin kudu local
government area
The Robbers were arrested after they took away the sum of two million
naira and zoomed off in a Honda [EOD] with registration number DGW 225AA.

On their way to escaped with the money, the Jigawa state police and
good Samaritan gave the robbers a hot chase – which resulted in the robbers hitting a cyclist who died on the spot.

The police recovered the car Honda EOD and the two million naira
from the suspect along with the two master keys as well as one of the
suspect’s identification card

According to one of the robbers, salisu abdullahi, they have been
in the business for the last seven [7] years together with his friend
mustapha from adamawa state who resides in jimeta yola. They told 247ureports.com that they used locally made master keys to open any car.

Regretting his actions he stated that he has a wife and a daughter – that they were not aware of his robbery activities. “They know me as a businessman”, he lamented.

His colleague, Mustapha Abubakar in his confession statement stated that he was introduced to the business by his friend when they met at the holy land mecca – where
they slept in one room. He added that he was in the business for the last seven
years with his master salisu abdullahi.

Also two other criminals – Abubakar Ahmed and Adamu usman – were arrested in larabar tambari gwani quaters of Dutse local government. The criminals specializes in smuggling of Indian hemp. They were caught with a Mercedes truck registration number SW508 ABC loaded with 58 bags and nine rolls of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp – to be trans-loaded in to an empty white Toyota hiace bus with registration number AX467GYA. The suspects are presently being interrogated by the police.

Also, the commissioner of Police indicated that other arrests were made regarding the spree of robberies sweeping across the state. He said a gang of notorious car
thieves  were arrested by police in sule tankarkar local government
area of jigawa state whom had been terrorizing gujungu,maigatari, sule
tankarkar, Gumel, kanya babba, and babura during market days.

Those arrested include Hamisu Hussaini of ungogo local government in
kano state who confessed that his team had been terrorizing the area
for years with house breaking and theft adding that his team has
stolen and sold three cars from the area at Danbatta local government
area of kano state.

The gang leader met his waterloo when he stole one red HONDA civic car
with registration number AA482SKT belonging to one Alhaji Ahmed Abdullahi.

The Jigawa state police commissioner Kayode J. theopilus has confirmed
the story and assured that all the suspect will be taken to court
while the Indian hemp dealers will be handed over to NDLEA for further
investigation.
