Ex- lawmaker, Eseme Eyiboh has predicted that the 16th Nov 2013 Governorship in Anambra State may go all the way to a possible run off between two leading parties as a clear winner may unlikely to emerge on the day of the election, adding that he sees the leading parties running neck to neck.
Eyibo who was the Chairman House Committee on Information and Media in the Federal House of Reps told some reporters in Anambra that he can not predict the outcome of the election as according to him elections in Anambra is as unpredictable as pregnancy going by previous results of elections in the state.
The Ex- lawmaker from Akwa Ibom who caught up with some reporters on visit to a friend in Anambra maintained that the governorship election is going to be a tough fight because of the fact that about four notable parties are capable enough to trade power and might against each.
Pointing out the notable parties as APGA, PDP, APC and Labour party the former House of Reps spokesman who is eyeing Akwa Ibom state Governorship seat in 2015 said in his obsevation that APGA will fight with every thing within reach to retain Anambra while PDP wishing to reclaim the state and APC and LP will likewise unleash their power and might to win the election to gain more ground in the southeast.
He however called on the people of Anambra state to as usual behave like responsible citizens as people of the light of nation state by ensuring a violent free election, Anambra is not known for election violence so Nigerians and the international observers expect a violent free race as usual” he added calling on INEC to also ensure a free and fair poll come 16th Nov.2013
