The then Governor Ngige on site inspection

We refer to the recycled antiquitous propaganda article published in elombah.com esteemed medium yesterday, containing an imaginary event in which Prof Wole Soyinka featured in a meeting with the camp of Governor Peter Obi, when he offered himself for re-election in 2009-2010 as Governor of Anambra State.
If requires no emphasis to state that Mr Peter Obi is not a candidate in the November 16, 2013 Gubernatorial elections in Anambra State,a fact which takes away the last atom of authenticity from the report.
Obi has since rigged himself in the 2010 elections ,falsely claiming victory from the third position in conjunction with a tainted INEC led by Prof. Maurice Iwu ,who owes his employment in INEC to a sitting senator who was part of the rigging plot in 2010 gubernatorial elections ,in exchange for filthy lucre which the government of Mr Peter Obi has since provided in the guise of ‘donations’ to third parties.
This same fraudulent propaganda was deployed a few days ago in the Igbo listserves by a dubious character named Stanley Chira (aka Oderaigbo),once caught in the act of using an imaginary character –Chief Jonathan Ibekwe, who he falsely claimed was a community leader in Amansea to disparage Senator Ngige outside reality.
Mr Chira, an in-law to a top-notcher in APGA-controlled Anambra State government who lives in Awka, but claims to live in China, had cited The Sun Newspapers of September 29, 2013 as his source for the report.
Checks however revealed that it was a deliberate fraud, as no such report existed, not even a report remotely referring to Prof Wole Soyinka in the newspapers.
We are not surprised that the report which has now been stripped of Mr Chira’s by-line, has been panel-beaten to strip it of any connection with The Sun, for obvious legal implications, while still, keeping the propaganda gambit.
For the avoidance of doubt, Senator Chris Ngige, former Governor of Anambra State, who left the scene amid a loud ovation as governor and who has in the last two years as a senator sponsored 10 bills, co-sponsored close to 30 and initiated over 50 motions including the motion to grant a national burial to Achebe is not only in good terms with the late Prof Chinue Achebe, his constituent and Prof Soyinka together with their families.
While warning those who draw no line in politics to desist from trampling on the reputation of Prof Wole Soyinka, we urge all right-thinking members of the public to ignore such scum coming from political opponents that do not have any programmes or manifesto, neither do they have a specific candidate in their political party as they currently plagued the migraine of double candidacy.
We are a certain that if they had programmes for the development of Anambra State, they would have found it easier to pay attention to them rather than try, albeit unsuccessfully to castigate Senator Dr Chris Nwabueze Ngige the winning candidate of the APC in the November 16, 2013 gubernatorial polls.
We make bold to say that Senator Dr Chris Ngige has never been involved in any fraud in Anambra State, but rather fought against those who wanted to continue to live of Anambra State funds through fraud. He has since accepted the historical fact of being a victim to a judicial coup organised by the same cabal to cut short his tenure in office, hence necessitating his return to the saddle in March 2014 to complete his blueprint, which the product of the coup and present government in Anambra State largely glossed over.
We urge the public to expect more of such vainglorious imageries from negatively fertile minds as the Anambra State inches near to their date with history on November 16, 2013.
