Hadejia emirate council in Jigawa state has cancelled this year’s Salah
celebration and its annual festivities.
The secretary of the council Alhaji Maina Kawu said the cancellation of
the Salah activities fallowed the recent accidents which claimed 12
palace guards last month on their way to Kano airport to receive the
Emir who was returning from a foreign trip. The accident occurred in Kano along Ringim way.
Kawu urged Muslims to pray for peace in the country and Jigawa state
assuring that Hadejia emirate council will do its best in organizing
special prayer for peace in the country and prayer seeking forgiveness
to its people.
In his Salah massage, the emir of Hadejia Alhaji Adamu Abubakar
Hadejia urged the Muslims in the area to be God fearing at all times and
to respect the rule of law in the country by doing what the Holy Book teaches.
Adding that Hadejia emirate council in Jigawa state is among the
peaceful area where people have respect in leadership. He urged people
in the area to always remain focused in respecting leaders by
obeying law and order.
