With barely one month to the Nov 16 Anambra state governorship election, the Labour Party candidate Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah still smarting from his superlative showing at the Governorship Candidates’ public debate in far away Florida, USA, has visibly changed political gear along with his supporters, urging them to join in the effort to build a better future for the State and her citizens when they speak for a positive change with their votes at the polling day.

In what was seen by many political watchers as the commencement of the Nov 16 countdown, where the young Nnewi-born politician unveiled his strategy to use in coasting home to a resounding victory using the youth, women/men, business class and other hitherto neglected groups in the state as his strongest base cum supporters, recapped his job creation plans, reforms for the education, agric and health sectors as well as planned increase in the salaries and take home pay for civil servants among others.

He said, “There’s just one month to go until Anambrarians cast their ballots and choose their next governor. It’s an important choice – and one that will have a major impact on the future of our dear state,” Dr. Ubah said.

“As I’ve traveled across this great state speaking to voters and hearing their priorities for this critical election, one thing has become clear: they are sick of the same old political tricks and want a fresh approach.

“I want to bring the skills and expertise I’ve developed while building a successful, global business, and put them to work for the people of my state. I have a plan for transforming Anambra into an African business hub, and with your help, I will put that plan into action.

“As Charles de Gaulle said, “I have come to the conclusion that politics is too serious a matter to be left to the politicians.” So, let’s take our great state’s future into our own hands and put the politics behind us.”

Ubah, a highly accomplished philanthropist and entrepreneur who has clearly demonstrated his concern for the masses in the areas of unemployment, lack of basic utility services/infrastructures and needs has so far run a robust successful campaign. He as the founder of Capital Oil and Gas Ind Ltd, has built a successful company, employing thousands of Anambra indigenes and other citizens, from the ground up. Through the Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, he launched effective programmes promoting the empowerment of youths and women. As the LabourParty candidate for the Anambra governorship elections, he has also unveiled his campaign website for easy reach, contact and contribution. http://ifeanyiubahgovernor.com.
