Information reaching 247ureports.com indicates that the kidnapped Bishop, Ignatus Kattey has been released by his abductors. He was released today’s evening [September 14, 2013].
He is reported to be in his home town at Eleme as of this writing.
The Chief Press Secretary of Eleme council confirmed the released to our correspondent in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He said the bishop is hale and healthy.
It was not clear if any ransom was paid for his release. The police in Rivers State has yet to confirm the release.
The bishop’s residence in Eleme town is agog with celebration of his release.
