The last of the dramatic walkout at the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] special convention held over the weekend of August 31, 2013 at the Eagles Square in Abuja. Information reaching 247ureports.com through competent sources in Abuja indicates that fifty seven  legislators of the House of Representatives belonging to the PDP have declared support for the Baraje led new PDP.
The declaration of support is said to follow a closed door meeting held at a yet to be disclosed location in Abuja. The 57 legislators of the lower chamber of the National Assembly were said to signed a letter indicating their allegiance to the new PDP. The list of the 57 legislators is expected to be made public shortly.
