Two inmates who escaped from the Ogwashi-Uku prison at different dates have been recaptured after massive man haunt and intelligent gathering by officers and men of the Delta State Command of the Nigerian Prison Service.
The names of the recaptured inmates are Louis Achollo Etomi and Sunday Acholo who are said to be cousins escaped from the Ogwashi-Uku prison on different dates but were recaptured the same week after a massive man haunt which paid off Friday.
Their offences ranges from conspiracy, kidnapping, armed robbery to stealing. The former who is an awaiting trial inmate was remanded in prison on 14th dec 2011 by an Asaba High Court with CHARGE NO: A/15c/2012 and the later who is a convict, was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment on 13/5/2013 by a Delta Magistrate Court sitting a Ibusa.
