The Imo state government has commenced the dualization of IMSU/Aladinma road to ease traffic in the state capital.
Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha stated this while on inspection of some of the on-going road projects in the state.
He noted that the project would link Mbaise Road, to IMSU and Onitsha Road and urged the contractor handling the project to deliver the work within the stipulated time frame.
The governor pledged his administration commitment to making Imo better than he met it.
Speaking to newsmen, the contractor handling the project, Mr Jude Mbachu said he would ensure the completion of the project with 60 days.
He explained that due to the setting of the rain, he would use sharp sand and stone base to enable him do a quality job.
