Nasarawa PDP Set for President Goodluck Jonathan’s Visit

All is now set in Nasarawa state ahead of his visit to the home of solid mineral.

The president was expected to commissioned the “state of the art Federal High court – a mammoth crowd today (monday) converged in preparation to receive the august visitor, who’s visit to Nasarawa would mark the first ever since his north-central electioneering held in Lafia, the state capital.

The speaker of the Nasarawa state House of Assembly, Ahmed Musa Mohammed addressed the party leader, Yunana Iliya on the need for the president to visit the state secretariat of the party. The speaker also expressed shock over the letters he wrote to the presidency and the need to visit he state.

In his words, “I wrote on two occasions but I did not see any reply, the state secretariat of the party has written to the president to visit Nasarawa state but to no avail“.

Meanwhile, the former deputy Governor to Aliyu Akwe Doma, Michael Abdul appealed to the youth in the state to be law abiding citizens by respecting constituted authority – ascribing peace as a catalyst for peaceful development of the state. “The president is the president of the People’s Democratic Party, the Congress for Progressive Change and all other political parties”, said Michael Abdul.
