66 people among those arrested this week on Monday by the Nigerian
immigration service in Jigawa state in northern Nigeria were deported
to Niger republic early this morning.
This was confirmed by the comptroller in charge of Jigawa state Alhaji
Abubakar Muhammed Bamalli in an exclusive interview with our
correspondent at the state capitals adding that the deported aliens
were screened out of the 244 people arrested by his people.

The remaining people 178 were screened and set free to
continue with their normal activities as usual in the state.

When 247ureports.com contacted the executive secretary of Nomadic education in the
state [who is also the member of Miyatti Allah], Alhaji Ali Manu, he thanked
the immigration officials for the release of his people who were arrested
by the command.

He advised the immigration officials residing in the state to always
conduct investigation before taking any action and advised the
national identification commission to produce more national ID card.

Alhaji Manu added that many Nigerians were arrested due to lack of identification during the recent arrest in Dutse – adding that identification card
should be produced and given to members of Miyatti Allah and nomadic teachers
in an effort to protect the interest of their people in the state.
