Abia State Governor, Chief T.A. Orji has commiserated with Dame Patience Jonathan, wife of the president over the death of the mother recently in a car crash in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ugochukwu Emezue, described the death as shocking and painful.
According to him, this sad development has created a vacuum in the family of the president.
Chief Orji who said that death is a necessary end for every mortal stated that dame Patience’s mother while alive devoted her time for the service of God and humanity.
The governor urged the entire family of the president to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
He prayed God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest.
