The House of Representatives on Wednesday took a daring step against the presidency by removing the immunity clause that a serving president, vice president and governors currently enjoy.
The lawmakers also upheld the local government autonomy as recommended in the result of the peoples public session (PPS).
This is contrary to the stand earlier adopted by their counterparts at the Senate last week.
The House literally approved all 87 clauses it had earlier considered last week, except for two clauses that were stood down.
