Information reaching 247ureports.com indicates that the Federal Government of Nigerian has released N600billion out of the 2013 budget for the first and second quarter of 2013.
According to the information received, N400billion of the N600billion will be for the first quarter while the remainder of N200billion will be for the second quarter.
Already, the sum of N585billion has been disbursed out of the N600billion released – and 67% [N392billion] of the N585billion has been expended/utilized.
Meanwhile, the appropriations committee of the house of representations have summoned the federal minister of finance, Dr. Ngozi Iweala. As of this publication, the federal minister of finance is seated before the members of the committee.
