Our attention has been drawn to the erroneous insinuations that Senator Kanti Bello has been expelled from the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC). This is nothing but a piece of bunkum. It is absolutely untrue.
The Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the Katsina State chapter of the CPC, Hon. (Engr.) Farouk Adamu Aliyu, denied ever signing such expulsion order. This explains why we believe this rumour, which was intended to cause disaffection among our teeming supporters, was the handiwork of mischief makers.
We hereby state unequivocally that Senator Kanti Bello remains a bona-vide member of the Party and expected to contribute to the growth and social harmony of the Party in Katsina state and Nigeria. The expulsion allegation should therefore be discarded as a piece of fiction, lacking efficacy!
