Oguta state assembly rerun election in Imo state has been ruled inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC].

The house of assembly rerun election took place yesterday on Saturday, 29, 2013. According to information available to 247ureports.com, the election was declared inconclusive owing to alleged electoral scams and infractions by select politicians in select wards inside Oguta.

It is noteworthy to state that the former two elections [the one of 26th April, 2011 & August 2012] for the same office suffered the same fate. Informed sources in Imo State point to Oguta as “the Bermuda triangle of Imo state politics”.
