His Excellency Umaru Tanko Almakura has commended the Joint C.P.C. merger Committee for the wonderful job they had done with the merger of the party into the A. P. C.
Governor Almakura made this known when the Joint C.P.C. merger Committee paid him a courtesy call to thank him for his efforts leading to the merger of the political parties.

He assured them of his continuous support to enable the success of the merger, stating that not only the C.P.C. but Nigeria as a whole have seen the efforts of the merger committee.
He further said with the synergy and brotherliness shown by the merger committee the merger would succeed, and A.PC. Would win all elections.
The Chairman of the C.P.C merger committee Alh. Garba Mohammed Gadi said they where there to commend the support and guidance given by Gov. Almakura which has enable them succeed, stating that without his support the merger committee would not achieve their said objectives.
He appreciated Gov. Almakura and the leadership of the C.P.C. for their contributions, he assured them of their commitment in what ever they may be tasked to do for the C.P.C.
The Joint C.P.C. merger Committee also tasked the A.P.C Governors and the party leadership to settle the issues of the party positions immediately to enable the party move forward.
Lastly, he prayed for good guidance to the leader of the C.P.C. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.
