…Tasks Him on Productivity

The newly appointed chief of staff to the Governor of Imo state, Sir Jude
Ejiogu has been sworn-in by Gov. Owelle Rochas Okorocha with the mandate of
ensuring maximum productivity in coordinating activities of the government.

Ejiogu, who until his appointment was the chairman, Local Government Civil
Service Commission, replaces Prince Eze Madumere MFR who recently was elevated
to the position of the Deputy Governor following the impeachment of Sir Jude
Agbaso over allegation of corruption by the state legislature.

Gov. Okorocha in his remarks enjoined the new chief of staff not to be carried
away by his new position as it is surely another opportunity provided for him
by God to contribute substantially to the development of the state.

He admonished him to be honest, tolerant and committed in discharging his
duties, adding that his success as chief of staff will ultimately earn him
higher political position in future.

Gov. Okorocha who expressed satisfaction on the equitable distribution of the
state wealth and political offices by his administration, urged the new chief
of staff to see the entire state as his constituency by carrying everyone along
in discharging his duties.

While commending members of his cabinet for showing uncommon commitment in
delivery the dividends of democracy as enshrined in the rescue mission agenda,
Gov. Okorocha described his team as one united family, formidable enough to
drive the course of transformation tailored towards making Imo better.

In his acceptance speech, the new chief of staff, Sir Jude Ejiogu promised to
discharge his duties diligently as an apostle of the rescue mission.

He vowed to remain loyal to Gov. Okorocha by promoting the ideals of the rescue
mission administration which are targeted at making Imo better.

Ejiogu also seized the opportunity to call on other Imolites to support Gov.
Okorocha-led government as the numerous achievements recorded in less than two
years have clearly proven that the governor meant well for the people of the
state.
