Good morning Barr Iwuala.
Trust you are doing fine?
I just read your write up on the topic: “The Untold Story Of Governor Okorocha’s Recent Motor Accident” and I came to the conclusion that the whole accident story was nothing but a joke.
I followed the news development to the point the state commissioner of Police said his men missed the private car driver that crashed on the governors convoy and I knew instantly that the truth has not been told.
I am from Imo state though married to Anambra. I know the governor very well because my mum held from the same village with him and his commissioner for Information and culture, Chinedu James Offor is my cousin, so ordinarily I was happy when the governor emerged.
But the past events of Okorocha and his team has shown clearly that we are still very far from seeing the messiah we all clamoured for.
My heart bleeds each time I hear such dirty stories like non payment of salaries, contractors, demolition of houses and most importantly not following due processes in running the affairs of the state and I ask myself: “which way Imo state”?
I’ve long came to the conclusion that Imo state is destined to be run by fraudsters. Check from Achike Udenwa to Ikedi Ohakim and now Okorocha, what can you make out of these characters?
Its unfortunate, as I reliably gathered and as you rightly said in your write up the our dear governor doesn’t take advice from his team or anybody at that. He love nothing but lies.
And I ask, can’t we have a real leader in Imo state for once? Why the bash here and there? Why the jamboree everywhere? This is a state and not Rochas Okorocha’s Foundation and you the stakeholders in the state should make him realise that.
Thanks
Onyinyechi Emmanuel…Abuja
