Gentlemen of the press,
We deeply regret the election of 46 year old Esther Nenadi Usman as the Senator representing the good people of Southern Kaduna (Zone 3) in the Senate of the Federal Republic. She has betrayed the trust and confidence that were reposed on her as she has been consistently and maliciously working against our collective interest and playing the sectional card of causing divide and rule among us and preferring to deal only with the Hausa/Fulani, especially from Kagarko L.G. she pays only lip service to the issue of the creation of Gurara state and says one thing in the morning in support of state creation and plot against the idea in the night with her co-conspirators
Ever since she was elected, she has been acting as a demi-god and treats our people as lepers. She rode on the goodwill and massive popularity of our late amiable Governor, Sir Patrick Yakowa (CON), to become senator. What actually happened was that, we resolved as a people that in other not to cause confusion among the electorates, all and sundry should vote for all candidates of the PDP in all elections, as that was the saving grace of Esther Usman otherwise Caleb Zegi would have floored her.
A clueless and colorless personality, she has consistently been treating the Southern Kaduna people as lesser beings and second class citizens, preferring to deal with the majority hausa/Fulani of Jere, Kagarko L.G.A, where her Muslim husband is Chief.
She has consistently shown hatred for our people and in conjunction with Sani Sidi “her boy” influenced the immediate sacking of Reuben Buhari for the appointment of the loquacious and incompetent Ahmed Maiyaki as D.G media.
In this age of Information Communication, Esther has no functional website or email address, how then do her constituents communicate with her? Through GSM calls that the majority of people complain is always switched off or never picked? Her facebook page is a mockery of her as a Senator and of note are the following on her facebook page:
All her felicitations to her constituents are during the Eid-el-fitr (30/08/2012) , Ramadan (19/08/2012) and Eid-el-Kabir (26/10/2012). Not one message of felicitations to us during Easter and Christmas celebrations. What does that speaks of? Senator Esther felicitates only with our Muslim Brothers and does not deem it fit to pass a word to “her Christian brethrens” in her Constituents. WHAT A SHAME, even thou it is an open secret that she is no more a Christian. She also has a tribute to the late premier of the Northern Region, the Saurdauna of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello (25/08/2012)
On her profile on the Senate website, she boasts to have as her legislative objective:
1. Ensuring that direct foreign investment pour into Nigeria
2. To see that our pharmaceutical industries become compliant and have our textile industries work again. What has she done to achieve this?
Where has Esther been since 2012, when the people of Southern Kaduna have lived in fear, anxiety and uncertainty?
What has she done as the Senator representing the area to return peace and confidence to “her people”?
Let it be known to her and her cohorts that, with or without her, we have resolved not to give in to self-doubt and prejudice or allow ourselves to be intimidated. Let it be known that our confidence as a people has grown in leaps and bounds.
Our late brother and Governor, Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa has opened a door for us and it will never shut again because we the youths have risen up; to us, fear is dead and will never rise again.
For now, we have comforted ourselves and wish to state that we no rely on the likes of Esther Usman and her co-conspirators anymore, since he has treated us with contempt and disregard
As a last word, let it be known to her and other lack-luster, shameless representatives that we have the structures to boot them out of office and that we shall achieve it in the name of Jesus, no matter their manipulations, scheming and shenanigans.
They cannot continue to hold us to ransom.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
For us as a people, it is “oh Israel to thy tent”
