Suspected terrorists on a “keke” yesterday evening detonated a bomb near the Emir of Kano’s mosque in kano. Elombah.com learnt one person died in the explosion and many others were injured. The area was immediately cordoned off by security agents. Witnesses say the explosion occurred by the Kano Central Mosque located opposite the Emir’s palace.
Two suspected bombers allegedly orchestrated the explosion. One of the bombers (pictured above] was apprehended, lynched and killed by a mob, while another was handed over to soldiers, who stormed the scene after the blast.
Commenting on the incident JTF spokesman, Captain Iweha said that no no casualties were recorded in the incident that just came a few hours after President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan named a 26-member committee to work out an amnesty deal for members of the Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram.
