421 ACN members decamp to APGA in Onitsha

Despite the lingering crisis in the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in Anambra state, over 421 members of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN in Onitsha South council area yesterday decamped to the party.
 
Receiving the members on behalf of Governor Peter Obi, the chairman of Onitsha South Council area, Chief Ugochukwu Ezeani said they have made the right choice of belonging to the winning team, adding that the administration of governor Obi has made it pssoble for every positive minded person to be part of the development.
 
Chief Ezeani said the party remained one of the strongest political parties in the country that has truly brought democracy to the door steps of the masses and promised the new members of equal treatment.
 
He said the apparent development in various parts of the state as well as Onitsha South council area was made possible because of the positive nature of governor Obi through the Anambra Integrated Strategy, ANIDS, stressing that the party would be stronger and better to win the next governorship election in the state.
 
Responding on behalf of the members of ACN, the chairman who led other members of the party in the council area to APGA, Mr. Isaac Nweke said they decided to pitch tent with APGA after appraising the leadership quality of governor Obi.
 
Mr. Nweke further lauded the developmental agenda set in motion by the present administration in the state and commended the council chairman for complimenting the efforts of the state government to give Onitsha South council area a face lift.   
 
He promised that the members would work together towards the actualization of the next governor of the state of Anambra North origin and called on other members of ACN to come into APGA to work together to transform the state.
