The embarrassing attack on the Emir of Kano by unknown gunmen on January 19, 2013 may have found a resolution. This is according to information made available to 247ureports.com by the Nigeria Police authorities stationed in Kano indicating that on Monday February 11, 2013 [Today] – seven suspected Jihadists were arrested in connection with the said attack.
In talking publicly today in Kano, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ibrahim K. Idris stated that some of the arrested suspects include Adamu Sani, Malam Salisu Mohammed, Mubarak Isa, Surajo Salisu, Mohammed Auwal Hashim and Abdul Jalil Musa.
The police top boss continued to add that other suspects have been declared wanted by the Police – and they include, Malam Sharif Mohammed, Babangida Baba Salihu, Malam Ibrahim, Malam Adamu, Alhaji Ali, Habibu Gwamamja and Salmanu who he said is a known member of the dreaded Jihadist group, the Boko Haram.
The suspects are expected to be charged to court for homicide.
