The Enugu State Chapter of Conference of Nigeria Political Parties
(CNPP), Enugu has expressed delight and solidarity with the people of
Enugu State at the safe return of Governor, Sullivan Iheanacho Chime
to Nigeria.
Rising from her monthly general meeting, the group in a statement
signed by its Chairman, Hon Afam Nnaji and Secretary Pastor FrankGold
Ekwueme said the Governor’s return also expressed gratitude to the
Acting Governor, Mr. Sunday Onyebuchi and the Executive Council as
well as the Legislature and Local Government Chairmen, for their
support and contributions in keeping Enugu working while the Governor
was away.
The CNPP also commended the state government on the numerous giant
achievements it had towards uplifting the lives of the masses of Enugu
State as confirmed by the recent good governance visitation to the
state.
“We wish to commend the government of Enugu state led by His
Excellency, Sullivan Iheanacho Chime for not only making Enugu State
work again but for being able to reshape the face of the old Eastern
region for good”, the group said.
