A Roman Catholic Church in Ezinifite Nnewi South collapsed amidst church meeting following a Church service this morning – instantly killing three and injuring others. The worshippers at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Ezinifite saw their church building collapse during Church service.
The church is saod to be under re-construction.
Confirming the incident to 247ureports.com was the President General [PG] Emeritus of the town, Dr. Barthy Okafor. The PG stated that the step mother to Chief Leo Okoye were among the dead. The identities of the other two dead persons are not known.
