Boko Haram Hits Catholic Church in Kaduna, Bauchi Metropolis, 5 dead, 2 Injured

Information available to 247ureports.com indicates that the prowess of the Islamic terrorist group, the Boko Haram may have not subsided as the result of incursions by the Nigerian security forces under the auspices of the Joint Task Forces [JTF]. This is as two attacks were recorded during the Islamic religious holidays between Saturday and Sunday.

Yesterday a sucide bomber struck the Bauchi metropolis with two bomb blasts. The blasts occurred at night. According to the police, two people were injured. The status of their injuries remain unknown.

Today, the Islamic terrorist group struck again. It struck in Kaduna during Church service.

A suicide Bomber attacked a Catholic Church in Kaduna metropolis. According to available information, the attacker attempted to slam a car bomb into a church during service on Sunday, initially killing at least three people, including himself, while wounding others. The Nigerian security officials were said to immediately surround the church after the blast.

A spokesman for Nigeria’s National Emergency Management Agency said the explosion happened Sunday morning at St. Rita Catholic church in Kaduna. The spokesman, Yushau Shuaib, says ambulances were taking the injured to the hospital.
