Itβs yet another needless wastage of precious human lives as a truck belonging to Dangote Group just crushed a Sienna bus, trapping all the occupants.
The accident happened in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, in north-central Nigeria.
Breaking the news of the accident in a text message to News Express, Mr. Chris Kehinde Nwandu, National President of Celebrity Special Marshalls, said: βThere is right now an accident just after Lokoja involving a Siena and a Dangote truck where all the occupants of the Siena heading towards Okene are still trapped beneath the truck with virtually no rescue in sight nor any emergency.
An official of Dangote Group contacted by News Express refused to comment.
News Express reports that fatal accidents involving Dangote trucks have become a regular occurrence on Nigerian roads, especially in the south-west and north-central, where Dangote, the countryβs richest man, has cement plants.
