The spate of violence in Kogi state has continued to pose a greater a challenge as 247ureports gathered that anxiety continues to rise in Kogi state as barely 24 hours after 17 worshippers at a Deeper Life Bible Church were killed by run rioting gunmen in Okene, two soldiers have been shot dead by attackers this evening.
According to the police the state who confirmed this second killing said that the attackers, “unknown gunmen” attacked a patrol van in which the soldiers drove in, killing two instantly and injuring others.
It is not yet confirmed by the Police , spokesperson Kogi state police command, as the number of soldiers wounded from the attack could not be ascertain now, but the death of the two soldiers were already confirmed.
