Men suspected to be militants had today attacked the family House of the Vice President Namadi Sambo.
According to eyewitness, who spoke to 247ureports, said that the gunmen which attacked the house situated along Baba Ahmed road in Tudun Wada vicinity of Zaria, drove in by the side of the house and at instant shot two policemen which are said to be on guard at the house.
However, according to the eyewitness the gunmen immediately fled the scene after the attack, though the Policemen were reported to have survived the assault.
