It was a tragic election in Edo state as four people died in Ologbo area of the state on saturday.
The state commissioner of Police Femi Adenaike who came to take charge of the election security disclosed to our correspondent in Edo that among the dead were three policemen and one staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC].
The commissioner said the death was as a result of an accident involving a boat carrying INEC materials and officials meant for the governorship election in the state.
He was however not forthcoming as to what has happened to the electoral materials but said two of the bodies had been recovered as at the time of talking.
