Information available to 247ureports.com indicate soldiers attached to the Joint Task Force [JTF] in Maiduguri, the hot spot of Boko Haram activity, were attacked by men of the Islamic terrorist group yesterday night [Sunday] at 8:30pm. The attacked was reported to have been an armbush that occurred at the Budum Market and Kofa Biyu. Seven soldiers were reported dead.
Several people sustained injuries. They are presently recieving treatment at UMTH.
In repriasal attacks, the JTF soldiers were reported to have gone “on rampage” to burn houses and wile arresting individuals believed to be innocent. The house of Chief Imam [Wubchima] was burnt down in the process.
