Information just reaching 247ureports indicates that the Islamic Militant group has continued their spate of violence in Sokoto. According to eye witness this evening attack is targeted at a police post in Shagari Local Government.

According to the report, the Militant bombed and destroyed the police Station in the Local Government area. However sources within the police in the affected Local Government area said that the assailants came on a motorbikes and throw dynamites at the Police station as the also shot at the policemen which were in the line of duty.

Moreover, the location of this assault is just 70-80 kilometers from the Sokoto Urban where the group did attacked two police locations recently.

As the time of filing in this report it is not ascertain whether there is any casualty, as details remains unclear.
