The group downed their tools last week pending Mr. Ibrahim’s willingness to come to negotiate a solution to the payment of their owed salaries. Instead, Mr. Ibrahim sacked the group – and told them that if they were still interested in the job – to reapply.
A source from the news daily revealed that Mr. Ibrahim had been prepping to join the gubernatorial race in his home state, Ondo. “He has been gathering funds to join the race” said the source who also added that he has concluded plans to join the All Progressive Congress [APC].
