Julius Berger-AFP Is Taking Home, Hospitality Designs To Next Level – Swiss Investor
AFP, the furniture and furnishing business subsidiary of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, has been described as leading the country’s home and hospitality furniture sector to the next level.
Switzerland based creative investor and CEO of Blackpace, Mr. Paul Andrew made the remark at the just ended three-day 2018 edition of the annual Made By Design exhibition held at The Landmark Event Centre in Lagos weekend. Andrew’s remark came amidst similar accolades showered on AFP for its unique home, office and hospitality Made in Nigeria furniture by hordes of visitors that trooped the company’s exhibition stand at the event.
According to Andrew, “AFP’s unique designs and productions are taking this country’s furniture industry ahead, to the next level. If AFP continues like this, before long it will be a dominant global player in the sector.” He also had kind words for the company’s officials at the stand whom he lauded for the “courtesy and professionalism they displayed at the exhibition.”
Another industry player and Managing Director of Miele Gallery based in Lagos, Mustapha Olorunnibe described AFP as “one good thing that has happened to Nigeria’s furniture industry”. He added: “We at Miele Gallery have never regretted doing business with AFP because as associates in this industry, AFP has been a worthy associate indeed.”
On his part, the interim General Manager of AFP, Oliver Cohen said, “the wide range of the company’s products are made in Nigeria. We are proudly Nigerian and these products are of varied designs, forms and style; there are modern oriental designs with intricate lines and details; their versatility, elegance and comfort all in one piece are not only breathe-taking but are enduring.”
