Zamfara Transport Commissioner Resign, Says He Has Regains Freedom

Amidst political rumors and speculations, Zamfara State Commissioner of Transport Alh Nasiru Zarumi has tendered his resignation letter, quitting his membership of the State Executive Council.

 

Presenting the complimentary copy of his resignation to Journalists in Gusau Nasiru Zarumi who had been one of the ANPP supporters that fought the battle which produced the present administration Governor Yari said he had taken the decision for the best interest of his political associates, supporters and indeed people of his constituency Bukkuyum.

 

‘’I thanked God that I have taken a decision that will best define our focus as people and above all I have gotten my freedom’’ Zarumi added.

It could be recalled that, few days before Sallah rumors of some Zamfara Commissioners rang the air shortly after the former Commissioner of Commerce Alh Hassan Mohd Zurmi left the party for the opposition PDP and Nasiru Zarumi was among those listed.

 

He was the third Commissioner after Malami Yandoto and Hassan Zurmi to take that bold decision of sacrificing their membership of the State Executive Council for the PDP.

 

While Nasiru Zarumi and two others are living for the PDP, the four Director Generals that left the APC for PDP had made a u-turned and re-united with their political associates in the APC exactly thirty days after living the party.
