Boko Haram: Police Commissioner’s Home Attacked In Kano, 2 Policemen dead

Information reaching 247ureports.com indicates that the terrorist Islamic group, Boko Haram has attacked Kano State again. The latest attack came at about 1:30pm today [Monday].

The attack was targeted at the Kano State home [Durayi] of the Imo State Commissioner of Police, M. J. Abubakar. The attacked was reported to have been carried out by armed men on motorbikes who rode to the residents and fired at the gaurds stationed at the gated entrance. Two of the police gaurds were shot dead instantly. Two other police men were injured.

The attackers were reported to have escape with bullet injuries. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Magaji in talking to 247ureports.com, the attackers escaped without their motobikes. He indicated that the attackers were chased by the police but they managed to escape.

In all, five bodies were recovered from the site.

It is suspected Boko Haram was behind the attack.
